Malamatì was born thanks to the talent of Mr. Dimitrios Manios, a young man from Greece. Son of Art, in Italy, and particularly in Bologna, he finds his inspiration and makes his way in the fur world. Dimitrios’ vision and natural curiosity lead him to discover and introduce new materials highly appreciated not only in his field. Soon, helped by his wife Valeria's ability, success came; with collections of great stylistic impact and strong distribution. The Malamatì brand was born in 1990 with the first collection presented at the Italian fur fair, the homonymous The One MiFur of today, but our clothes had already been presented since 1985. In 2020 we will celebrate 35 years of presentations and strong experience at the fur fair Italian remaining among the few "old" furs, renewed from new generations. We distribute in the Italian market, then, in the 90s, in Europe, Asia, America, up to Russia. The internationalization of the Brand sees a further evolution, which is now carried out also with the strong help of the daughter of Dimitrios, Malamatì, strong of a stylistic culture perfected at the Polimoda of Florence. The collections from 2016 until today have been directly directed by her.
